Remit: Industrially influenced exposed concrete, purpose-built flat, to be dressed and furnished throughout.
Requirements: To soften the stark exposed surfaces and give a warm and comfortable living space by the use of fabrics and textures.
Execution: Living area: Purpose designed seating units dominate the living room with the effect softened by contrast cushions and throws. Dining table of dark wood with leather-faced legs and matching dining chairs. African/Indian wall plaques and side decorations are interspersed with large ornamental decorations using bamboos, twisted vines and other natural materials.
